The duo

Hello! We are the duo, made up of Jordan (vocals, guitar & bass drum) and Hannah (piano/keys). We met in 2014 whilst studying music in Edinburgh and in the summer of the same year began performing in bars and clubs throughout Scotland. Since then we have gained a huge amount of performing experience and over the past year have grown increasingly busy with wedding and function bookings. We pride ourselves on being unlike most other ‘cliché’ wedding bands through our song choice, performance style and stage manner and have found that to be a common reason people choose to book us over the other more typical wedding bands on offer. Our ever-changing set list contains all of the usual and well-loved classics along with a lot of modern tracks all performed very much in our own style. We strongly believe that when music is performed live it should be truly live and for that reason we never use backing tracks. If someone has taken the time to look for and book a live band, they definitely don’t want to listen to a CD! We both have a genuine love for our music and hope that that passion comes across in every one of our performances. Head to the 'Live Shows' tab at the top of the page to see where we're playing next and come and see us at one of our gigs - we would love to meet you!

Think ‘duo’ but with even more spice! The addition of the fiddle and mandolin along with vocal harmonies ignite our set with a folk rock spark and put a unique and riveting twist on our songs. Les joined us in early 2015 and although he is busy with his other music projects, often performs with us at our regular weekend gigs. He has more years of playing experience than he would probably care to mention (!) and is a highly accomplished musician. The folk instruments allow us to build in more variety to our set and most notably give us the opportunity to play a live ceilidh. The fiddle tunes that we perform never fail to get even the most reluctant dancers on their feet and before they know it, they’re having almost as much fun as we are! Why don’t you come along to one of our trio shows and see for yourself?

We also work alongside one of Scotland's best pipers!

Kevin McNulty is a highly acclaimed, professional piper with over 20 years of playing experience. Kevin has performed all over the world in places such as Australia and Istanbul all the way back to his current hometown of Glasgow. As well as having a very successful solo career, he has also played solo recitals alongside some of the best pipers and pipe bands in the world. Kevin's playing has reached millions of people throughout the world through his live performances and radio shows making him an experienced and seasoned performer.

When it comes to weddings, Kevin can cater for any special requests you may have and a choice of national dress is also available upon request.

Please use the contact form below which will put you in direct contact with Kevin so he can offer you his best quote.

Please Note: Kevin works independently from the band and his availability may vary to ours.

Whether you’re looking for a few tasteful hymns to be performed as you walk down the aisle or some of your favourite love songs to be playing as you say, ‘I do’, we can tailor the Ceremony Set to suit your day. If the thought of having to pick the songs for these occasions is too daunting on top of everything else you have to organise, we can advise you on this at no extra cost and help you come to a decision that you are both happy with. The ceremony set can be booked with the duo for £150 and as a solo set for £100.

Please Note: This option is only available with 'The Duo Evening Set' OR 'The Trio Evening Set'.

Eventually - time to relax! And what better way to start off your evening of entertainment than with an hour or two of music from Jordan. The selection of laid-back acoustic love songs is the ideal accompaniment to the early part of your evening and a perfect warm up for the night of music ahead! Depending on your evening schedule, this service is offered at £150 for 1 hour of music or £200 for 2 hours.

Please Note: This option is only available with 'The Duo Evening Set' OR 'The Trio Evening Set'.

We hope by this point to have had the opportunity to meet you at one of our gigs or wedding fairs and therefore expect that you have a fairly good idea of what the duo has to offer you! The evening set, like all the other aspects of our wedding music package, can be tailored to suit you. The price above covers 4 hours of music performed by the duo including your first dance song and 2 special request songs. Full sound system and lighting for the band and dancefloor are also completely taken care of and included in the price. Please make any requests to us that you may have in the contact form at the bottom of the page.

If you would love to have a few ceilidh dances at your wedding but still want to keep within a sensible budget for your entertainment then this is an ideal option for you. For only an extra £50 (which, we might add, is a lot cheaper than hiring a ceilidh band alongside us!) we offer ceilidh dances with calling and live demonstration using mp3 tracks. We can play these throughout the course of the evening, interspersed with our normal set, so the dancers amongst you don’t get too tired out! Stamp, stamp!

As we mentioned in the ‘Duo Evening Set’ section of the wedding package, we hope by this stage to have had the pleasure of talking with you at one of our trio gigs or wedding fairs and are delighted that you are considering us as your wedding band! By booking the trio you can rest assured that you have hired a professional and reliable band who are satisfaction guaranteed! The 4 hours will be packed full of music and, as with the duo, our price includes your first dance request along with 2 other special request songs. Full stage and dancefloor lighting and sound system are also included and if you have any additional requests please feel free to get in touch with us using the form at the bottom of the page.

This is the perfect combination for those couples who just can’t agree! By choosing the trio with ceilidh option you are securing a band who can perform all of the classic/pop/rock/folk/contemporary songs that you’d look for in a wedding band along with professional and full sounding ceilidh with calling and demonstration (if required). It is an extremely cost effective way of having these two styles of music at your wedding and saves the potential hassle involved with booking two different bands for your night time entertainment. This also means that the dances can be integrated seamlessly with the regular set and played periodically through the night so that guests who don’t necessarily enjoy ceilidh music won’t have to sit through an hour’s worth of dances at a time!

Please Note: The prices shown are dependent on a venue within a 100 mile radius of Edinburgh, Scotland. Additional fees to cover transportation costs may apply to venues outwith this distance.

As well as playing weddings, we are also regularly hired to perform at functions and parties. Whether it’s a birthday celebration, anniversary or just a good old get together why not give your night that extra edge by booking some live music? Our rate of £600 includes 4 hours of music from the trio with full band and dancefloor lighting and sound system. For an extra £150 (total £750) the trio can perform live ceilidh dances with calling and demonstration (if required!). The dances can be integrated seamlessly with the regular set and played periodically through the night so that guests who don’t necessarily enjoy ceilidh music won’t have to sit through an hour’s worth of dances at a time! Have a look at the tabs at the top of the page to see our song list and listen to our demo CD.

If your budget is a little tighter then why not take a look at what the duo can offer you? For only £450 you will receive 4 hours of live music and full sound and lighting set up. We perform all the same songs as the trio and with just as much energy! The duo can also offer the option of ceilidh dances with calling and live demonstration using high quality mp3 tracks. This can be added for only an extra £50 (total £500). Take a look at our upcoming gigs on the homepage to come and see us play or use the contact form below to get in touch with us now - we would love to hear from you!

Why choose us?

We completely understand that trying to choose a wedding band can seem an almost impossible task. Trawling through hundreds of websites, agency listings, attending wedding fairs and even going along to local gigs hoping to spot someone you like - it’s a tiresome and time consuming task - time that you often don’t have when planning everything else that is required for a successful wedding day. For that reason we have done everything to make the whole process as simple and hassle-free as it possibly can be. Our prices are our prices; there’s no hidden costs and no deceiving or misleading information. We can take care of your whole day from the ceremony right up until home-time for the same price that a wedding band would charge for just your night time entertainment. (Better yet, if you catch us at one of our wedding fairs and book us within 1 month of the date of the fair, you receive a £50 discount on the overall cost of your booking!) This however does not mean that you are receiving a lesser service. We pride ourselves on the effort that we put into every aspect of our work whether that’s learning new songs for you, dealing promptly with any queries or requests or even the wedding packs and displays that we put together ourselves for wedding fairs and shows. This is our business, our livelihood but most prominently our joy and passion and we will ensure that enthusiasm will be channelled into your special day.
